Sammie the Shark and the Return of the Lost Gift
Sammie the Shark and the Return of the Lost Gift is a story about a shark named Sammie. Sammie and his friends live in the colorful Coral Bay. He finds a treasure, which he is not sure at first what this reflective object could be. It all turns out to be a very special gift for a special someone he loves very much.
1.“Sammy is swimming happily along, minding his own business, when he comes upon something flickering that has caught his keen eye.
2.“As Sammy is circling the object, he notices Ollie the octopus sneaking very close. Sammie hurries to distract Ollie and keep him from seeing this interesting find, and he then makes several dives and turns in front of Ollie.
3.“Now Sammie inches closer and closer till he is just a few inches away from this reflective object. As he looks carefully, the object takes on the shape of a circle, still sparkling as it did when Sammie first spotted the object.”
Rocky Raccoon is the main character and his friends live in the Old Oak Woods. He is a friend and leader that helps his friends make the right decisions. This is my first book of Character Traits that are taught in the elementary schools. Each story of the six traits has characters facing dilemmas that end on a positive note. I was inspired by the Guidance Councilor at the school that I worked at as a teacher assistant. My books are a positive role model for young students to learn right from wrong and be motivated to read each story and share with their friends.
Rocky Raccoon and His Caring Classmates is the third in a series of six books dealing with the Character Traits taught in the elementary schools. Rocky Raccoon, the main character, is a friend and caring classmate that heads up a Cookie Swap with the help of the Principal, Mary Day, faculty and parents. Readers will learn valuable lessons through these stories while being entertained. The setting for the stories is the Old Oak Woods during various seasons. This story takes place during the Holidays with the students baking cookies for the cookie swap. Each story has characters facing dilemmas that end on a positive note. Children between the ages of six to nine will be motivated to read each story.
